Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau has revealed how he confronted head coach Hugo Broos after he suggested that the Al Ahly star's performances for the national team had dropped.
Broos was not impressed with Tau's performances for Bafana late last year after stating that they were not at the level of the Tau he knows, as he has been following the South African player even from his days in Belgium.

The Al Ahly attacker struggled for game time at the Egyptian giants after being out with injuries but was selected for Bafana.
'The Lion of Judah' has revealed that he sat down with Broos and honestly explained to him that his performances had dropped because he was not match fit after coming from two injuries and that it was difficult dealing with the situation.
"Most of the time I don't care what people say about me but sometimes you have to be honest with yourself, I'm coming from two injuries, I'm not feeling the same," Tau said at the 10bet and Bafana media briefing.
"I'm trying to run in the game but it's not the same, I'm not match fit. So at some point I sat down with the coach and said, 'Coach, I'm also not match fit, I'm coming from injuries and I had to come from Zimbabwe to come back and play this game, so I don't feel okay'.
"He was like, 'So what's the plan with you?' Then I was like, 'No, I have to go back and work hard', I went back and got injured again. So it was hard for me at the time, I'm happy now that hopefully we're over my injuries," he added.
Bafana will host Namibia and Democratic Republic of Congo in international friendly matches on Saturday and then Tuesday at Orlando Stadium respectively.
