Bafana Bafana have been dealt a blow ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, with one of their attackers set to miss the tournament through injury.
Striker Lebogang Mothiba will play no part in Ivory Coast next month after his club Strasbourg confirmed he underwent surgery on his knee.

The 27-year-old picked up the injury the side's 2-1 win over Lorient on Sunday afternoon and will no be sidelined for months.

"Victim of a fracture of the patella of his left knee during the match played by Racing in Lorient on Sunday, Lebo Mothibi underwent successful surgery today. The South African international striker will, however, be unavailable for several months," the club tweeted.
