Shakes Mashaba has named his Bafana squad for the upcoming 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifier games against Sudan and Nigeria.
Having played four games of qualifying so far, Bafana are yet to concede a goal under Mashaba's tutorship, and need just two points from these two games in order to guarantee qualification to the 2015 AFCON.
The big news is that Kaizer Chiefs' Brilliant Khuzwayo and Platinum Stars' Siyabonga Mpontshane have been called up to replace the sadly departed Senzo Meyiwa, who was tragically shot and killed last month in a house robbery.
Goalkeepers:
Darren Keet, Siyabonga Mpontshane, Brilliant Khuzwayo.
Defenders:
Erick Mathoho, Tefu Mashamaite, Rivaldo Coetzee, Sibusiso Khumalo, Anele Ngcongca, Kwanda Mngonyama, Luvolwethu Mpeta, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Ntsikelelo Nyauza.
Midfielders:
Thulani Serero, Dean Furman, Andile Jali, Oupa Manyisa, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Mandla Masango, Themba Zwane, May Mahlangu, Fagrie Lakay.
Strikers:
Bongani Ndulula, Tokelo Rantie, Kermit Erasmus, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Sibusiso Vilakazi.
Chippa United striker, David Zulu, SuperSport United's young goalkeeper, Dumisani Msibi and Ajax Cape Town duo, Keagan Dolly and Ayabulela Magqwaka find themselves omitted from Shakes' squad.
Orlando Pirates left back, Thabo Matlaba, also misses out on this two qualifiers owed to an Achilles tendon injury. Bidvest Wits' Thulani 'Tyson' Hlatshwayo is suspended after picking up two yellow cards.
Bafana's next game will be the clash with Sudan in Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium on the 15th on November, before travelling to Nigeria four days later for their final game.
