While Bafana Bafana will face Congo without the services of star striker Lyle Foster, it comes as a great relief that the injury suffered by the striker is not as bad as initially anticipated.
Foster was stretchered off in the fixture that took place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium last Friday as Bafana Bafana romped to a 5-0 win in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The striker managed to get onto the scoresheet for Hugo Broos' side; however, he has not traveled with the squad to Brazzaville, but will instead return to Burnley where he will begin his early rehabilitation.

A consolation for the 23-year-old is the fact that his injury will not require surgery, although he will be sidelined for a few weeks, according to Dr Tshepo Molobi, the Bafana Bafana doctor.
"Fortunately, the nature of the injury does not require surgery," he told SAFA's communications department.
"However, time has to be afforded to him for proper rehabilitation and this is why he has been ruled out of the match on Tuesday," Molobi said.
Red-hot Mamelodi Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners is expected to take his place in the starting XI.
