Bafana will be playing for the first time under Ntseki, who is the senior national team interim coach, following the departure of Stuart Baxter after the Africa Cup of Nations.
As confirmed by SAFA, the match against Zambia will be part of the preparations for AFCON qualifiers scheduled to commence in November with an away match against the Black Stars of Ghana, before hosting Sudan later that month.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Morena Ramoreboli – the coach renowned for discovering Bafana and Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch – has sent encouraging words to the senior national team coach.
"It's great that Molefi Ntseki has been given a chance to coach Bafana Bafana and I would like to congratulate him. I know him personally and I believe in him," Ramoreboli.

Ramoreboli and Ntseki previously worked together at African Warriors – the Free State club that campaigned in the National First Division a few years ago.
"I have worked with him previously. I worked with him at Warriors back in those days. I was with him when we promoted Warriors and he was like my advisor. We worked together again – I think for two seasons in the First Division – while with Warriors," Ramoreboli added.
