Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala has given his view on the club having no single player in the current Bafana Bafana squad, dominated by players from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chiefs had only one player, goalkeeper Brandon Petersen in Bafana's 35-man preliminary squad.
However, after head coach Hugo Broos trimmed his squad to 23 players, Petersen missed out, with Amakhosi having no single representative in the squad that will play against Liberia in back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The current squad has been dominated by players from Sundowns, who have eight representatives in total.
Tshabalala says it's not surprising to see so many players from the Brazilians in the national team because they have been playing good football and they have structure and identity.
"I think we have a good squad and it's only fair that the majority comes from Sundowns, they have been playing good football, very organised, you can see there's a structure, there's a culture, there's identity," Tshabalala told journalists at a Nedbank Cup event.
"And if you have more players coming from a team that has been consistent over the number of years, they'll definitely add value and help the national team going forward," he said.
'Shabba', who made a name for himself world wide after scoring the opening goal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, also touched on Chiefs having no player at the current Bafana squad and says "it's a big worrying factor".
"When you look at Chiefs, I think there's no single player that is in the national team which is a big worrying factor that a big team of Chiefs' calibre does not have a player that represents the team.
"But all is not lost, there's still an opportunity for players to perform and be consistent. Remember performance starts at club level that will enhance your chances of playing in the national team, if you're not consistent at club level then you stand no chance of playing in the national team," he added.
