Bafana Bafana coach has reiterated his belief that the national team isn't going to the Africa Cup of Nations to simply add numbers following the draw which was conducted in Egypt, Cairo on Friday.
South Africa have a tough group – alongside Ivory Coast, Namibia and Morocco, and the caliber of the opposition already suggests it won't be easy.
"It is a tough, but exciting draw," Baxter in a statement released by the SAFA.
"We have generally done well against the bigger teams, but struggled against the so-called smaller teams. If we play to our potential, we should give all the teams problems. We are not going to shout from the rooftops, but we are definitely not in this group to add numbers."

Bafana left it late to secure their qualification to the AFCON last month in a 2-1 victory over Libya, played in Tunisia. Now that the draw has been confirmed, Baxter is expected to draw up a plan to prepare for the tournament, which stars in June.
A camp in the Middle East with two matches, as well as a final warm-up fixture against similar opponents to those in Group D has been mooted.
But this all depends on whether clubs will release players earlier. Most domestic leagues wrap up the 2018/19 season early next month.
