It's just under a month since Stuart Baxter resigned as Bafana Bafana coach and it has now been confirmed that a new era will begin on September 7.
Today the SA Football Association announced via the national team Twitter account that a friendly against neighbouring country Zambia has been arranged on that date, which falls under the Fifa calendar and will be played at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

Baxter quit shortly after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations with Bafana and guiding them to their first ever quarter-final finish since 2002, away from home.
He was then almost immediately replaced with his assistant Molefi Ntseki, though the Englishman is likely to still be consulting for the association until a permanent coach has been appointed. Ntseki is interim coach.
The friendly against Zambia will give him a chance to raise his hand for the job on a full-time basis after president Danny Jordaan confirmed that a task team will be looking at various options to replace Baxter.
