Bafana threw away a 2-0 lead against Botswana on Sunday as their opponents equalised with the final touch of the game before going on to win the penalty shootout 5-4 to progress into the semi-finals of the competition.

Notoane's side, meanwhile, have been pitted against Uganda in the plate semi-final, where the winner will face either Comoros or Malawi in the final or third place play-off depending on whether they are able to get a victory at Moses Mabhida Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
While defeat will have been a blow to the side – who are mainly made up of U23 players – their head coach will be eager to make sure that they bounce back against the Cranes in order to try and continue their development as potential senior team players in the future.
