Bafana Bafana Have A Common Goal According To Darren Keet

He put in a stellar performance between the sticks for Bafana Bafana over the weekend, and Darren Keet has given some insight into who gets selected for South Africa.   Check out scenes from Bafana's return to SA in the gallery above!   Keet made the most of his opportunity after being given the nod by Stuart Baxter to fill the gloves of the absent Itumeleng Khune, and he went on to pull off a number of fine saves on the way to a vital victory over Libya to qualify for the African Cup of Nations.    Read: Amakhosi's Internationals: Star Scores Beauty, Others Unused   Baxter had to choose between the Bidvest Wits man and his SuperSport United counterpart, Ronwen Williams, but it was ultimately the more experienced shot-stopped that was called upon to get the job done. Keet, however, believes he's just a cog in the machine.    Speaking after the game, the 29-year-old insisted that his role to play shouldn't be highlighted and that Baxter might have selected several other players on the day who could have gotten them over the line. He said, "I'm just here to play a part, I think we've all got a part to play in this team and in what this team wants to achieve. We have a common goal in mind, and whatever way we achieve it, that should be the goal no matter who plays.   Read: Revealed - Who Bafana Will Avoid At AFCON 2019   "In any position, we've got a number of quality players who can step in at any time and do a job, and it's no different in the goalkeeping department. That's how we want to be, that's how a strong team is built, and that's how good characters are built among a good team. We hope to continue that, and whatever happens, happens. I think everyone is delighted, everyone is happy."   Meanwhile, with regards to some of the naysayers prior to the encounter in Tunisia, 'Popeye' was staying positive. He said, "We've had a few doubters, which is fine, you're always going to have some doubters and negative people here and there, but it's up to us to turn them around and make sure they stay positive… We've turned things around and we've given everyone a positive look at Bafana again."    Keet will now return to club action this week as Wits look to book their spot in the Nedbank Cup semifinals when they go up against Chippa United on Saturday.   Meanwhile, take a look at Bafana's amazing arrival in Mzansi on Tuesday:
