A second half brace from Percy Tau either side of a Libyan penalty was enough to give Bafana a big three points in Tunisia, booking their spot at the AFCON with some very impressive stats to go along with it after a good showing in the group stages of qualification.

Bafana were one of only five nations that managed to go all six of their qualifiers without a defeat, and only two nations (Senegal and Egypt) finished with a better goal difference than Baxter's boys (+9) as they completed their qualification with just two goals conceded.
The team got Baxter singing and dancing in the changing room after the victory, with the Englishman ultimately reaping the benefits of the 3-5-2 formation that could have been considered a risk when he named his XI prior to the game.
