David Notoane has beefed up his CHAN squad with two Mamelodi Sundowns attackers ahead of the second leg against Lesotho on Sunday.
After losing the first match 3-2 in Maseru after goals by Tercious Malepe and Luvuyo Phewa, Notoane has called up Keletso Makgalwa and Thabang Sibanyoni from Mamelodi Sundowns, two players he is very familiar with. Sibanyoni is a typical traditional number nine and Makgalwa a winger or second striker.
With the return being played on Sunday, the coach may need to do without several of his side from the first leg who will be needed for PSL commitments. Two players who have returned to their club are Bongani Mpandle and Bongokuhle Hlongwane, who were both recalled by Maritzburg United. Mpandle started the first match in goal, whilst Hlongwane featured as a substitute.
The rest of the squad changes will be announced in due course as Bafana Bafana look to overturn their 3-2 first leg deficit.
Kickoff is at 3pm at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday 4 August and entrance is free of charge.
