The Euro 2020 final took place on Sunday, with England losing 3-2 on penalties against Italy following a 1-1 draw in extra-time.
Left-back Luke Shaw got the Three Lions off to an excellent start with an early goal, although he was not the only England player to begin brightly as Harry Kane and Declan Rice also impressed for Gareth Southgate's men in the first half.
In the second half, however, Italy equalised through Leonardo Bonucci, and threatened further through Federico Chiesa, who was arguably their most dangerous outlet in attack.
With the score staying at 1-1 following extra-time, it was shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma who took matters into his hands as he saved two penalties to inspire Italy to Euro triumph.
