Moukoko made his senior debut for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, one day after his 16th birthday, following a recent rule adjustment in the Bundesliga that saw the minimum age change from 16 years and six months to 16 years.
The Cameroon-born starlet replaced Erling Haaland in BVB's 5-2 win over Hertha, and could also feature for Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
However, he is not the youngest debutant in Europe's top five leagues, with Amedeo Amadei having made his first Serie A appearance at the age of 15 years and 279 days for AS Roma back in 1937.
Joel Frechet, formerly of Olympique Lyon, is the youngest player in Ligue 1 history, having made his debut aged 15 years and 334 days in 1981.

Fabrice Olinga is the youngest player in LaLiga history, having debuted at the age 16 years and 98 days, while Harvey Elliot is the Premier League's record holder after making his first senior appearance aged 16 years and 30 days.
