Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool enter the new season as reigning champions after lifting their first league title in 30 years in 2019/20.
The German tactician signed a new bumper deal in December 2019, putting pen to paper on a deal worth £288 000 (R6.24 million) per week.
The whopping wages saw Klopp level Jose Mourinho in joint-second spot among the league's top-earning bosses after the Portuguese had joined Tottenham Hotspur just a month earlier.
Manchester City's Pep Guardiola, though, remains at the top of the ranking, pocketing £385 000 (R8.34 million) a week at the Etihad Stadium.
Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti jumped into fourth position after joining Everton, receiving an incredible £221 000 (R4.79 million) weekly at Goodison Park.
Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers rounds out the top five, with the former Liverpool coach earning £192 000 (R4.16 million) per week after signing a new deal in December 2019 as well.
