Sergio Busquets has admitted that the golden era for Barcelona and the Spanish national team has come to an end.
The Barcelona midfielder, who claimed Cristiano Ronaldo wouldn't insult Lionel Messi, also admitted that he is not satisfied with his personal start to the season.
"We won't go back to seeing the best Barça or the best national team," he told Radio Cope.
"I'd give myself a 6 for the start of this season.
"I'm not going to be operated on. I don't have any type of problem with my groin."
A self-critical Busquets then acknowledged that rivals Real Madrid were the deserved winners in the first El Clasico of the season.
"Real Madrid were the deserved winners. They don't depend on the counter-attack, but it is when they create the most danger."
Busquets came through the youth ranks of Barcelona and has made 296 appearances for the Blaugrana.
