FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho believes a certain Brazilian can replace Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.
The 36-year-old has backed Manchester City new boy Gabriel Jesus to be the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's successor to the title of the best player in the game.
The young striker has taken the Premier League by storm this month, and Ronaldinho feels Jesus has the ability to potentially leapfrog compatriot Neymar in the running to take over the mantle from Messi.
"Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus," Ronaldinho told the Daily Mirror.
"Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world.
"At the moment, it is Messi. I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar.
"But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen."

The City star has made four appearances in all competitions for his new side so far, scoring three goals and assisting a further two strikes.
