Reports: FC Barcelona Players Furious With African Star

FC Barcelona stars are reportedly furious with Valencia's African centre back Aymen Abdennour.

The Tunisia international posted pictures on social media showing some marks that were left behind after a clash with Luis Suarez during the Blaugrana's 1-1 draw with Valencia on Saturday.

The Instagram post shows wounds on his foot as well as on the inside of his arm, which has raised the ire of the Catalan dressing room.

According to Marca, Barcelona's stars have accused Abdennour of breaking the unspoken rule of "what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch".

They insist the African's behaviour is unsportsmanlike, especially as Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi never show the wounds they pick up during matches. The Uruguayan also apologised publicly on Saturday.

"It was accidental, which is why I apologised straight away," Suarez said in the aftermath of the game.

"These things happen between forwards and defenders; they're typical skirmishes that are forgotten about afterwards.

"It happened to me two games ago, but I don't think it should be made a big deal of."
