Following Saturday's 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos have fallen 14 points behind their bitter rivals.
Club president Florentino Perez tried to reinforce the squad with low profile signings in the last window, however the club have come in for criticism for their performances.
As a result, DiarioGol claim that Perez has prepared €200 million for next season.
According to the Spanish publication, Los Blancos will target Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
The forward position looks to be the main cause for concern as Karim Benzema has struggled for goals this season, while the club also sold Alvaro Morata to Chelsea in the last transfer window.
