After only making one signing so far, Manchester United are now reportedly plotting a surprise deal for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.
Kante's remains uncertain at Stamford Bridge, with some reports in England claiming the Blues were looking to offload the midfielder to raise funds.
Chelsea have already reportedly more than £230million in the off-season after signing Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Hakim Ziyech and could look to now raise some funds by offloading players.
Italian publication Tuttosport claim that Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now looking to make a shock move for the 2018 World Cup winner.
The report adds that the Blues would be open to accepting an offer of £55million for the Frenchman, who still has three years left on his current deal with the club.
The Red Devils' midfield is already stacked and they recently just added Netherlands international Donny van de Beek, so it remains to be seen if Solskjaer will go ahead with the deal.
