Jurgen Klopp will miss several of his regulars after Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson joined Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold on the sidelines.
In addition, Salah tested positive for COVID-19 after attending his brother's wedding in Egypt during the international break.
However, there were some good news for Klopp after Fabinho was declared fit for the contest with Brendan Rodgers' side, who entered the game week in top spot.
At the back, Andrew Robertson, Joel Matip, Nathaniel Philips and Neco Williams are expected to defend in front of Alisson Becker.
Liverpool are unbeaten against the Foxes in six games in all competitions, winning five but Leicester travel to Anfield on the back of six successive wins in all competitions.
