Official: Manchester United Announce Alex Telles As Deadline-Day Signing From FC Porto

After a relatively quiet transfer window, Manchester United have now announced their first deadline-day signing.

The Red Devils have confirmed the arrival of 27-year-old left-back Alex Telles from FC Porto.

He passed a medical on Monday and put pen to paper on a four-year deal, with an option to extend for another season.

Telles reportedly pushed for the move to United, which cost the Premier League side €15 million (R290 million), plus add-ons.

The Brazilian scored 26 goals and assisted 57 further strikes in 195 appearances for Porto since joining them from Galatasaray in 2016.
