Mkhulise: I have worked my way up to the first team.
Sphelele Mkhulise has worked his way to the first team at Mamelodi Sundowns from the youth structures. His journey to the top has taken him from being a ball boy, to a key member of the first team. Mkhulise continues growing in leaps and bounds at Masandawana and is proving to be one of the best players to emerge from the club’s youth structures in recent years.Speaking to the club’s website, the attacking midfielder sounded proud to be sharing the dressing room with some of the club’s experienced campaigners. ““I have come far with this team, I’ve been here since 2012. I have worked my way up to the first team and it has been hard work all the way. Some of the guys I am playing with like Hlompho Kekana, Themba Zwane and Tebogo Langerman have been here for a while, and funny enough I used to be a ball boy for them, whilst I was at the academy, but look at me now, sharing the same dressing room with them,” said Mkhulise” Mkhulise told Mamelodi Sundowns website.
