The Spaniard recently insisted that Atletico Madrid were Barca's toughest opponents in La Liga, despite losing 2-1 to Los Blancos in El Clasico on the weekend, and added that Real now celebrate wins instead of titles.
Marcelo was asked what he thought of Pique's comments, and the Brazilian suggested that it was normal for Real to celebrate the way they did after defeating the Blaugrana.
"He has his opinion and you have to respect it," he said, according to Marca.
"I celebrate every victory like a title (win) because to play and win is very difficult, I celebrate all victories."
