The stage is set for the MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida stadium and Orlando Pirates legend Joseph Makhanya believes that Cape Town City have what it takes to surprise Mamelodi Sundowns.
This year's final will see local coaches battle each other as Eric Tinkler faces Manqoba Mngqithi, Steve Komphela and Rulani Mokwena.
Many are strongly in favor of Masandawana because of their form and dominance in the PSL but Makhanya believes if there's anyone that can stop Sundowns, it is Tinkler.
"The best thing about this final is that we have both local coaches competing for this trophy, coach Eric Tinkler against the 'Three Wise Men'," Makhanya said, addressing the media.
"If there's any team that can stop Sundowns, it is City because Tinkler can be very good in big games and very tactical."
Dukuduku is not taking downplaying Sundowns' force and quality but when it comes to finals, there are no favourites.
"They have special players to hurt them even though Mamelodi Sundowns are a very hard, unstoppable force with everything you need in a team. (They are a) solid team with quality depth but this final will be very hard to predict, it will be all about the character and fear of the underdogs."
