Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus has had his say on the bad blood between teammates Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski.
Reports: Robben Lewandowski Rift At Bayern
It was recently reported that the Polish striker and the Dutch winger have butted heads, with Lewandowski believing that Robben is too selfish in front of goal.
The former Germany captain has now revealed he is concerned the lack of harmony between the two could become a serious problem and rub off on the rest of the squad.
"Lewandowski keeps feeding the debate about the selfish attitude of Robben on the pitch, day to day, and this has affected the players' confidence," Matthaus told Sport.
"It's very clear that something is wrong between the two players.
"These situations create a lot of bad blood in the squad. Lewandowski and Robben should fix the situation because if they don't, I'm convinced that it would create a source of instability in the team's attack."
