There has been an update with regards to injuries ahead of the MTN8 Cup final between Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns.
After last weekend's DStv Premiership matches, there had been concerns for City coach Eric Tinkler as some of his star players, including captain Thamsanqa Mkhize and Bafana Bafana international Terrence Mashego, had been carrying injuries.

In total, Tinkler identified six players who were doubtful when the mentor spoke to the media earlier this week, including goalkeeper Darren Keet who has been out with a long-term injury.
With the Mother City outfit having travelled to Durban for Saturday's eagerly-awaited clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, sources in the know have confirmed that both Mkhize and Mashego have been in full training with the rest of the team in the days leading up to the team's departure.

Mduduzi Mdantsane, who has been one of the in-form players for the Citizens this season, is also available for selection after returning to full fitness, with indications that the only players who may be unavailable could be Keet and Zimbabwean forward Douglas Mapfumo.
