How Much The 12 Super League Founders Are Worth

With the 12 mega-rich founders of the controversial European Super League (ESL) causing a massive stir earlier this week, here is how much they are reportedly worth!

Click through the gallery above to see how much the founders of the Super League are worth, according to various sources.

Although the breakaway competition no longer seems to be happening, the founders of the league have come under major scrutiny this week, with supporters even entering Manchester United's training complex on Thursday to protest the club's ownership.

While the Glazer family is not among the 10 wealthiest owners in football, their healthy net worth of $3.1 billion (R44 billion) is enough for supporters to believe there is a slight disconnect between them and the fanbase.

For a long time, the Glazer family has been accused of taking more money out of the Red Devils than they have invested, although they are not the only founders of the Super League tournament that have felt the severe backlash of supporters over the past few days.

Arsenal fans got together on Thursday to protest their American owner Stan Kroenke, who is also believed to be among the leading forces behind the ESL, which was announced this past Sunday.

Kroenke, according to Forbes, is worth $8.2 billion (R117 billion), which is more than both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

The two Spanish clubs operate differently from the other teams involved, with club members considered the lifeblood of both the Blaugrana and Los Blancos. Still, Real and Barcelona are believed to be worth $4.7 billion (R67 billion) each.

The richest club owner from the 12 founding members is Manchester City's Sheikh Mansour, who is reportedly worth an incredible $30 billion (R428 billion), which is more than double anyone else on our list.
