Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels have been included in Germany's 26-man squad for the European Championship after a two-year absence.
The 2014 World Cup winning-duo were axed by Joachim Low in 2019 as the coach looked to usher in a new generation of players.
However, Germany have suffered some worrying results in the UEFA Nations League, including a humiliating 6-0 loss at the hands of Spain.
There was also a call-up for Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala, who rejected England earlier this year to represent the German nationalside.
The Germans will be without Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Marco Reus, who will miss the tournament due to injury.
