George Chigova hasn't taken long to find a new club after Polokwane City's relegation as he has signed a deal with a Gauteng outfit.
The representatives of the Zimbabwean goalkeeper have confirmed that the 29-year-old goalkeeper has signed with SuperSport United to complete his return to the club.

The player's agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, confirmed the signing in a statement and it reads as follows:

Steve Kapeluschnik has confirmed that his client will leave Polokwane City Football Club and join Supersport United for the new season. The Zimbabwean national team goalkeeper has spent the last 5 years at Polokwane but Kapeluschnik says, "We told the Chairman a few months ago that George was looking for a new challenge and he understood and accepted that."

When asked for a comment an emotional Chigova said, "I love Polokwane City, the Chairman, fans and everybody at the club have always been good to me. I am devastated that we were relegated but I know that the club will be back in the PSL soon. I want to thank everybody it has been a privilege playing nearly 130-150 times for this great club."
Chigova first arrived in Mzansi for Matsatsantsa in 2014 from Zimbabwean club Dynamos, and it was from the Tshwane outfit that Rise and Shine signed him in 2015.
