A former FC Barcelona star has revealed he "came home crying every day" during his time with the Catalan giants.

Brazilian right back Douglas joined the Blaugrana from Sao Paolo in 2014, but failed to impress and was loaned out to Sporting Gijon this season.
He has now opened up about his difficult time at the Camp Nou, saying injuries made his stint at Barcelona very difficult.
"As a child, I dreamt of becoming a player," Douglas told El Comercio.
"It appeared difficult, but my career was moving forward.
"At Barcelona, I had difficult times with injuries and every day I came home crying, but it is what it is. I had to face it and fight.
"The environment has always been strongly against me. But I try to stay strong for my family, for the people who love me."

Since his move to Sporting, Douglas has featured in only two games, a 5-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid and a 5-0 loss to his parent club.
