Germany moved up to second in Group D, after thrashing Gibraltar 7-0 in their European Championship qualifier on Saturday night.
The World Champions were looking to bounce back from their shock 2-1 loss to USA in an international friendly.
Germany should have gone ahead in the 11th minute from the penalty spot after Jonas Hector was brought down, but Jordan Perez guessed the right way and saved Bastian Schweinsteiger's penalty.
The visitors eventually broke the deadlock in the 29th minute, when Andre Shurrle pounced on a defensive error before poking past Perez.
The lead was only doubled shortly after the halftime break, as Max Kruse turned home Mesut Ozil's low cross from close range.
The Germans got a third minutes later, when Ilkay Gundogan made his way into the Gibraltar box, before slotting past Perez with a deflected effort.
Karim Bellarabi got in on the scoring act in the 57th minute, as the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder slotted home from close range, after being picked out Ozil. His second assist of the game.
The World Champions were not done there, as they added a fifth in the 65th minute when Schurrle got on the end of Gundogan's cross to claim his second goal of the game.
The Wolfsburg winger then completed his hat-trick in the 72nd minute, as he tapped home from close range, after being teed by Ozil, who bagged a hat-trick of assists.
The scoring was rounded off in the 82nd minute when Kruse grabbed his second of the night with a well-taken volley from close range.
The emphatic win moved Germany up to second in Group D, one point behind leaders Poland.
