Former FC Barcelona star Edmilson believes that the Catalan club's success started when Ronaldinho joined the club.

The Brazilian was asked when Barcelona's journey to success began, with him replying that it was when Ronaldinho arrived at Camp Nou as he brought a winning mentality to the Spanish giants.
"It all started with Ronaldinho," he told Marca.
"The club has gone from strength to strength since he arrived.
"Before that they were a lacklustre team but he revitalised the way they played.
"Then the club management at that time was very smart and saw that the Ronaldinho, Deco and Rijkaard era had come to an end.
"Ronie's arrival was the first step and the winning mentality remained after that.
"Guardiola perfected it and then came Luis Enrique, who combines elements of both Rijkaard and Pep."
With Barcelona, Ronaldinho won back-to-back La Liga titles in 2005 and 2006, as well as the UEFA Champions League.

The superstar was named as FIFA World Player of the Year on two occasions while with the Spanish giants, and was named as the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner in 2005.
