The unbelievable start of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has seen the superstar breaking a couple of all-time records, now he equalled an 84-year long standing one.
The Portuguese has scored 18 goals in his first ten La Liga games, while sitting out in one game. However, Ronaldo, who averages, 1.8 goals per game he has played, will still be compared on his tally after 11 games.

According to Marca, his current tally is already better than the overall goal return of seven players, who won the Pichichi trophy for the best goal-scorer in Spain.
Bienzobas of Real Sociedad, in 1928-29, scored 14 goals in 18 games. Gorostiza of Athletic de Bilbao, in 1931-32, scored 12 goals in 15, and Olivares of Real Madrid ended the 1932-33 season with 16 goals in 14.
Real Madrid's Amancio and Atlético de Madrid's Gárate scored 14 in 1968-69 and 16 in 1969-70, along with Atlético's Luis Aragonés. Gárate once again, and Barcelona's Rexach, got 17 in 1970-71, the same number as Valladolid's Da Silva in 1983-84.
These are the players whose records have been smashed by Ronaldo, but the above-mentioned played shorter seasons than the current 38-games format.
During the 84-year history of La Liga, there has been just one player prior to Ronaldo to score 18 goals after 11 game weeks, and that was Oviedo's Isidro Langara, who did so in the 1934-35 season and ended up with 26 goals.

Ronaldo's current return is also better than Lionel Messi's at the same stage of his record-breaking season in 2011-12.
The Argentine ended that season with 50 La Liga goals, but had 'only' scored 13 goals after 11 games.
If Ronaldo would stay injury free and continue to score at his current rate, he could finish with 62 goals in La Liga this season.
