A former teammate of superstar Ronaldinho, who played for clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona, has revealed how the Brazilian would go out during the week and sleep at training.
Makelele Reveals What Zidane Used To Do After Training
Ronaldinho will always be known for being one of football's greatest entertainers, and for the smiles he brought to fans around the world every time he made the impossible seem possible.
The Brazilian's pace, skill and dribbling ability made him a defender's worst nightmare, but there were also rumours he was far from a manager's dream.
A former PSG player, Jerome Leroy, who played alongside Ronaldinho at the Paris-based club, recently revealed that the 2002 FIFA World Cup winner would enjoy nights out during the week, and fall asleep on the massage table at training.
"Ronaldinho did not train on any day of the week," Leroy told SFR Sport.
"He just turned up on Friday, ready to play on the Saturday. That was Ronaldinho. I think he was trying to emulate Romario, but he did not have the same success.
"He'd come in with sunglasses on, go and get changed and then go straight to the massage table to sleep.
"Players with great talent like him are a bit crazy."
Ronaldinho joined Barca, where he became the global icon he is today, in 2003 and left in 2008, after Pep Guardiola took charge of the club.
The Brazilian won six trophies at the Camp Nou, including the UEFA Champions League title.
