A former Premier League star claims Bruno Fernandes missed the penalty against Aston Villa due to pressure from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fernandes missed just his second penalty for the Red Devils when he skied his effort over the crossbar in the latter stages of United's 1-0 loss to Villa on Saturday at Old Trafford.
Many expected Ronaldo to take the penalty as he has usually been given that duty throughout his career at club level and for the Portugal national team, where he plays alongside Fernandes.
Former Premier League winner Tim Sherwood felt the presence of Ronaldo may have impacted Fernandes' decision-making with the penalty.
"You don't miss that, Jeff," Sherwood told Sky Sports' Soccer, as per the Sun.
"You never see him blast it over the crossbar, he normally waits for the goalkeeper to go down and rolls it into the other corner.
"It's the pressure, the main man is here. It's distorted his thinking.
"He's got one chance, one chance only and we've seen it gone there."
The Red Devils will look to bounce back on Wednesday night when they travel to Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League, looking for revenge for last season's UEFA Europa League final loss.
