Ayabulela Konqobe Is A Wanted Man According To Reports

Aya Konqobe
Ayabulela 'Aya' Konqobe has been attracting plenty of interest at Thanda Royal Zulu, with three of South Africa's biggest clubs currently watching him. Read: One Chiefs Star Back, One Waits Konqobe, formerly Magqwaka, has had a difficult few years of late up until being released by Ajax Cape Town, however, he now seems to be finding his feet with Thanda. As reported in the latest issue of Soccer Laduma, edition 999, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits and Orlando Pirates are all believed to be keeping tabs on the 20-year-old defender, and may look to try and sign him should his form continue. Konqobe has played a large role in helping his side remain unbeaten so far this season, and will be delighted to see them sat on top of the National First Division table. The player's agent, Abbie Rasimphi, didn't deny the interest in the player, but was insistent that any club would have to speak to Thanda directly. "The player you are telling me about is focused on doing well for his club, Thanda Royal Zulu, this season. It's still too early to talk about what could happen and stuff like that. But, as we all know, each and every club wants quality in their team, so I won't be surprised if what I hear about clubs being interested in the player is true. "Right now, I want the boy to fully focus on helping Thanda in their attempts to win promotion to the PSL. Thanda are the people that gave the boy another chance to play football and we appreciate that. If there are any interested parties, they will need to go to Thanda and not come to us. The player is rightly contracted to Thanda."
