Juventus star Paulo Dybala's agent has broken his silence on rumours the player could be used as a bargaining tool to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Over the past few days, there have been reports suggesting that Dybala is not a part of new Juve manager Andrea Pirlo's plans, and that the tactician's top transfer target is Manchester United star Pogba.
Tuttosport in Italy later stated that the Bianconeri were looking to offer the Argentina forward as part of a huge swap deal that would see the France international return to Turin.
This came as a shock considering the stellar season Dybala has just had, after which he was crowned the Serie A MVP for his displays in Juve's charge to the 2019/20 league title.
His agent Jorge Antun has now spoken out, saying there is no truth to the reports.
"I have read the rumours in the newspapers through the last few days and they're completely false," Antun said, according to the Daily Star.
"Paulo Dybala is a Juventus player and happy to be one. We'll work with the club to renew the contract with our usual attitude as always."
Dybala was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the previous transfer window, with United and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested in the player.
Pogba's future at United seemed uncertain until recently, with the Frenchman seemingly getting back to his best since midfield partner Bruno Fernandes' arrival in Manchester.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also been quoted saying that Pogba is part of his long-term plans, and reports suggest that the midfielder is close to a new deal at Old Trafford.
