Over the past two decades, the Rojiblancos have seen many of their prized forwards move on to greener pastures, but they have always been able to find suitable replacements.
In the 1990s, the club had the likes of Christian Vieri and legendary Dutch striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who went on to play for Leeds United and Chelsea, on their books.
More familiar faces came to the club in the 2000s, including the likes of Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero and former Uruguay captain Diego Forlan.

From 2010 onwards, the La Liga side has seen a powerhouse group of players play up top for them – Chelsea frontman Diego Costa, Monaco's Radamel Falcao and former Spain striker David Villa all donned the white and red shirt.
