Issa Hayatou Predicts An Imperfect Africa Cup Of Nations

Confederation of African Football president, Issa Hayatou, believes the hosting of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations won't be perfect. Equatorial Guinea were named as the new hosts earlier in the month, after Morocco refused to host the tournament following fears of the Ebola outbreak. The tournament gets underway on 17 January 2015, leaving the hosts with only weeks to prepare and the CAF President admits there could be problems. "If I say there will be no problems, I would be lying," Issa Hayatou told the BBC. "In two months we can't bring together everything that is needed without there being some imperfections." Hayatou admitted there are also concerns with catering, media, transport but added: "We'll do everything so we can save the essentials."
