Afcon 2015 Starting XI: Equatorial Guinea v Congo-Brazzaville 17 January 2015
Africa Cup of Nations - Group A   Teams: Equatorial Guinea v Congo   Date: 17 January 2015   Venue: Estadio de Bata   Afcon hosts Equatorial Guinea get their campaign underway with a clash against Congo on Saturday afternoon.   The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.   Equatorial Guinea had been disqualified from the tournament in August for fielding an illegible player, but were re-instated after they stepped in to host the tournament, following Morocco's refusal to host.   Coach Esteban Becker does not have the biggest of stars in his squad, but will look to the likes of Malaga goalkeeper,  Aitor Embala, Middlesborough's Emilio Nsue, as well Real Madrid B winger, Ruben Belima.   Congo, meanwhile, qualified for the Nations Cup, after finishing second in Group B, behind South Africa and picked up an impressive win away to Nigeria in qualifying.   The Red Devils coach Claude Le Roy is set to make a record-extending eighth appearance at a tournament and he will be hoping Almeria striker, Thievy Bouma, can carry his qualifying form into the tournament.   Here's how they line-up:   Equatorial Guinea: Ovono, Da Graca, Mbele, Iban, Nsue, Javier Balboa, Boula, Ivan, Sipo, Ivan Zarandona, Ganet   Congo: Mafoumbi, F. Nganga, Mouhibo, Moutou, Oniangue, N'Dinga, Dore, Bifouma, Gandze, Baudry, Babele   This Group A game will be televised live on SuperSport 4, on Saturday January 17,  at 18h00.
