Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has responded to the claims his side could be kicked out of the UEFA Champion League due to their involvement in Super League.
Los Blancos were one of 12 European sides to announce their intention joining a break away Super League last weekend.
However, that decision was met with widespread criticism before the six Premier League sides decided to pull out earlier this week.
Deportes Cuatro reported that UEFA were seriously considering kicking real out of the Champions League ahead of the upcoming semi-final against Champions League due to the club's role in the proposed Super League.
Zidane has since hit back and claims they deserve to be in Europe's premier club competition.
"We have the right to play in the Champions League," Zidane said, as per Goal.
"It's illogical and absurd [that we might be disqualified]. No, I don't have any worries [about the refereeing]. We'll play our semi-final, as is our right."
