The 20-year-old had to endure a poor first-half display by his teammate from the bench as the away side, who were missing 13 players due to injuries and positive COVID-19 tests, raced to a 3-0 lead in Madrid.
However, Real came out stronger after the break and pulled one back thanks to a superb strike by Luka Modric.
Vinicius then came off the bench in the 59th minute and scored within seconds after stealing the ball from Marlon's feet.

According to Spanish football expert Alexis Martin-Tamayo, better known as Mr Chip on Twitter, Vinicius scored after just 14 seconds on the pitch, making his strike the quickest goal by a substitute in Champions League history.
The previous record was jointly held by Lars Ricken (in 1997 with Borussia Dortmund) and Andy van der Meyde (in 2004 with Inter Milan).
However, Vinicius' strike was not enough to prevent Los Blancos' shock defeat.
The Brazilian, though, is Real's most prolific goalscorer this season, having netted three times so far.
