Bayern Munich made a positive start to their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 3-0 victory away to Barcelona.

Deadline-day signing Luuk de Jong was handed his debut for the Catalans alongside countryman Memphis Depay

Thomas Muller got the scoring underway in the 34th minute after being set up by Leroy Sane, before Robert Lewandowski bagged a late brace to wrap up the victory.

Dynamo Kiev and Benfica could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw at the NSK Olimpijs'kyj Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Kiev travel to Bayern in their next clash while Benfica entertain Barcelona.
