UEFA have announced the nominees for the Men's 2020/21 Player of the Year and Coach Of the Year awards, but there was no place for Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea walked away with the big prize after defeating Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final, with Kai Havertz bagging the only goal.
The Blues dominate the Men's Player of the Year nominees with two players, including Champions League final Man of the Match N'Golo Kante and Jorginho.
Messi did not make the final list after finishing fourth in the voting while Ronaldo, who won the award in 2017, finished ninth.
City are also represented on the list, with PFA Player of the Year Kevin de Bruyne getting a nod after his impressive 2020/2021 campaign.
Meanwile, City manager Pep Guardiola will compete Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel and Italy manager Roberto Mancini for the Coach of the Year award.
All the awards will be presented at the Champions League draw ceremony on Thursday, 26 August in Istanbul.
