Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer says Mario Gotze must "grow up", following the team's 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona on Wednesday night.

The Germany legend criticised Gotze's attitude, saying that the way he moves around on the field is child-like, with Beckenbauer insisting that the way the midfielder acts does not fit in with the Bundesliga champions.
"He behaves and moves around on the pitch like a youth player," he told Sky.
"He just stops moving when he loses a duel. This is the behaviour of a child.
"This kind of behaviour does not fit in at Bayern. It is time for him to grow up."
However, Beckenbauer did acknowledge the talent that Gotze has, but still feels as though something is not right with his game.
"He has shown at Dortmund what he can do and we know that he is a great talent," he added.
"But there is still something missing."
Gotze was benched against his former side, Borussia Dortmund, in their loss in the DFB-Pokal two weeks ago, and also started from the bench on Wednesday night against Barcelona.

The midfielder has played 44 games this season for Pep Guardiola's side, and has scored 15 goals, while he's assisted seven times.
