Kevin De Bruyne Responds To Manchester City Bus Attack

Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne has responded to the attack on his team's bus by Liverpool supporters ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.

Bottles and other various objects were thrown at the City bus on its way into Anfield, breaking a window and forcing the Citizens to find a new bus to transport them back to Manchester.

De Bruyne, who was one of the players in the bus at the time, has rather surprisingly claimed the incident did bother him too much.

"It was OK," he said, according to Manchester Evening News.

"I don't mind supporters doing that – I've had it a couple of times for my team and it's a nice feeling.

"Breaking windows is probably not good but who am I to say something? I am fine with it as long as no one gets hurt."

The Belgian also spoke about his side's 3-0 loss to the Reds.

"We started well and then they had four chances and scored three goals – then you know it will be really difficult," he added.

"The way we reacted was really good."
