Italy and Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who has faced many forwards in his illustrious career so far, has now revealed who has given him the most problems on the field.
'England Star Motivated By Messi Ronaldo'
The 39-year-old sat down for an interview with a Spanish publication after the Azzurri's recent 3-0 loss to Spain, during which he mentioned that Brazil legend Ronaldo de Lima was the best forward he has come up against so far.
The Italian faced the Brazilian in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and to this day, Buffon still describes Ronaldo as the perfect footballer.
"The striker who caused me all kinds (of trouble) was Ronaldo, the Brazilian one," the Bianconeri stopper told Marca.
"He was the perfect player as he had power, speed, intuition, technical skills and quickness. He was a jaw-dropping player. It seemed like he was created in a lab."

Although both Buffon and Ronaldo both won a FIFA World Cup, they, surprisingly, have something else in common: neither has won the UEFA Champions League.
