The Burkina Faso international, who spent two years with former PSL club Ajax Cape Town's MultiChoice Diski Challenge side, netted five goals and assisted a further three strikes in Ajax's 13-0 thumping of VVV-Venlo on Saturday.
Just a few days later, the 19-year-old continued his fine form in Ajax's Champions League clash with Atalanta as he started his first game in Europe's premier club competition.
As a consequence, he became the 30th teenager to start for Ajax in the UCL, which saw the Dutch giants break Arsenal's record of 29 starters aged 19 or younger, and the young striker justified his selection too.
First, he won the penalty that Dusan Tadic converted to give his side a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute, before scoring the second goal himself just eight minutes later.
It was his first strike in the competition after he left South Africa to join the Dutch giants shortly following his 18th birthday.

Traore thus became only the seventh African teenager to score in his first start in the Champions League, with Maxwell Cornet being the last player to achieve this milestone when he netted for Olympique Lyon against Valencia in 2015, as Goal pointed out.
Ajax, though, had to settle for a draw as Atalanta pulled two goals back in the second half to stay ahead of the Dutch side in second place in Group D, behind leaders Liverpool.
