Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has insisted he would like to take the final penalty if this weekend's UEFA Champions League final goes to a shootout.
The Citizens will take on Chelsea in their first-ever UCL final in Portugal this Saturday, with the Manchester side still on the hunt for a treble.
Should the game not produce a winner after 120 minutes, the Brazilian shot-stopper has elected himself to be one of the five penalty takers on the night.
"I don't need to train much, but the fifth one, I'm taking it. The decisive one. I think I'll take the fifth one."
Fellow City goalkeeper Scott Carson has backed his teammate from the spot.
"He has smashed a few at me and Zack (Steffen) and it's one of them where you actually want him to score, you don't want the ball to hit you because he smashes it that hard," he told Manchester Evening News.
"It does hurt! He takes a few every now and then and seems to find the side-netting every single time, and with the power. It's incredible."
